Providing food is the focus of Pay It Forward Food Pantry. Food boxes containing staples, prodjce, meats, baked goods, and when available milk and eggs are distributed on site at 2058 Harper Ave, Lenoir three times per month to individuals (2nd and 4th Thursdays and 1st Saturdays per month 9 to 12). Anyone in Caldwell County needing food is eligible with no discrimination. Drive through service is provided. The Food Pantry networks with other community agencies so that referrals are made for needs such as housing, counseling, training, employment, financial assistance and other community food resources.

Who are we…

Pay it forward Food Pantry is a 501c(3) agency made up of volunteers who are dedicated to providing food for their Caldwell County neighbors who need food. Established in 2004 as a mission of Fairview Presbyterian Church serving around 30 people per month, it is now an independent organization serving over 800 per month. It is housed at 2058 Harper Ave, NW in Lenoir. It is governed by a diverse board of directors from the community. Grants and donations provide funding for Pay It Forward Food Pantry. This food pantry is certified by the IRS as a tax exempt non-profit organization; thereby, donations are tax deductible as allowed by law. Contributions of any amount are welcome that will go directly for food and operational expense.
